“Scott Lowery is an excellent electronics technician but he’s more than that. He’s a musicians technician. Let me explain. Scott brings a wealth of knowledge about Piano, Organ and generally all keyboard playing to the forefront when you task him to work on your gear. But, it’s not limited to keyboards. Scott spent some time apprenticing under Tim Warneck at Retro Linear, a world-class operation out of North Wales, Pennsylvania that had quite a long list of clientele. Then he spent some time studying at the Community College of Philadelphia and Drexel Universtiy, chasing a BSEE degree. He’s worked on a bunch of gear for me always with exemplary results. A Hammond A-100, Leslie 145 a Wurltzer 200A, a Fender Rhodes 73 Mk 1 and next? I’m giving him my Scott all tube kit amp and my TC Electronics Voice Live Pro (vintage 2005). Can’t wait to see the results. So book him for your next technical issue. Satisfaction guaranteed”

“Great service! Scott went out of his way to search through his parts to find a small, very hard-to locate part I was searching for. Much-appreciated!”

“Scott is absolutely the man! Not only a talented keybaord player (so he understands the musician and studio dynamic) but an excellent tech. He helps keep our B2 and 122 singing and performing at its best, no bullshit, quick work, good work, what more can you ask for? In a world of liars, cheats, charlatans, and snake oil salesmen Scott is the only person who I trust to tech my organ and Leslie”

A big thank you to Scott for bringing my Hammond Organ CV back to life! I purchased it about 5–6 years ago, but after moving it to my apartment, I started getting a crazy static sound. I had a few entry-level techs take a look, but none of them could figure out the issue.

Eventually, I had enough. After moving again and deciding it was time to get the organ working properly, Scott reached out to me on the Hammond Facebook group after seeing my post. He came by, upgraded my Hammond CV, and got my Leslie 222 up and running.

Scott was fantastic—clear in his communication, honest, and upfront about what was needed to get everything functioning correctly. Thank you, Scott, for all your help! I highly recommend RetroTone Solutions to anyone.

“Scott is a young man wise beyond his years – he has helped bring vintage gear back to life such as a cherished Hammond B-3, Leslie 122, and Wurlitzer 200 electric piano.
His quality work also offers some new updates on the old gear too such as variable vibrato on the Wurlie. He’s a very musical and personable guy as well. Give him a shout!
(Now if only he could tune some of my melodicas…)
